OUP USA

Oxford University Press has a rich history which can be traced back to the earliest days of printing. The first book was printed in Oxford in 1478, and in 1586, the University of Oxford was given the right to print. Today, OUP is the world's largest university press with the widest global presence. As a department of the University of Oxford, its worldwide publishing furthers the University's objectives of excellence in scholarship, research, and education.
As Senior Designer/Design Manager for the in-house creative services team at Oxford University Press, I produced templates for print/digital advertising, marketing materials, and product/trade catalogs. The templates helped save outsourcing costs and improved workflow allowing the team to take on more creative projects. I was head of the design committee for our Madison Avenue window displays, In 2013, I took on the challenge of revamping and modernizing the OUP lobby by selecting key furniture pieces, carpeting, and artwork. For the relaunch of the OUP USA website in 2014, I led the team in selecting images and producing digital assets. The launch was a success with a new, highly visual, sophisticated site that reflected the innovation, heritage, and integrity of the brand.
