Chemo Comfort

Chemo Comfort is a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. It provides kits to cancer patients with products that help manage nausea, mouth sores, hair loss, and other side effects of chemotherapy.

There are two main fundraising events annually. Confections for Comfort takes place in June centered around National Cancer Survivor Day. Participating bakeries throughout NYC, including the famous Cafe Lalo in the Upper West Side, have designed treats made especially for Chemo Comfort. Cocktails for Comfort is a ten-day benefit held in October also known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In 2016, there were twenty-two participating establishments throughout NYC and Westchester. Signature cocktails are created with proceeds to benefit Chemo Comfort.
